Is hajj binding on me or anyone that I know? If yes plan for yourself and remind those who should go.
Hajj is not binding on me because I do not have the resources. I know people on who Hajj is binding, most of them have young children. I think that’s the major thing that prevents them from going to Hajj. Newly weds give more importance on visiting different countries rather than going for Hajj.
Mostly people in Pakistan wait till their old and till their children are much older. We forget that we need to go as soon as Hajj becomes binding on us.
A Student of the Quran
Hajj is binding on every Muslim who can afford it and yes it was binding upon me too! I went for Hajj when I was 1, 2 and 3 years old! My parents tell me how they did tawaf around the Kabah by carrying me on their shoulders!:) All I can do is pray to Allah (swt) that He rewards my parents for all their endeavors in this life as well as in the Akhirah ! Inshallah.
I performed Hajj as an adult with my husband right after getting married. I think it was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. I remember praying in Arafat with my husband and it was the most profound and unforgettable moments of my life.
I would like to get a chance to perform Hajj again Inshallah, as I feel after learning more of the Quran and going through Surah Hajj, I could benefit myself more Inshallah.
I would like to remind my brothers, their families and my sister and her husband that they should perform Hajj ASAP. Inshallah they will get a chance to go soon. Know they’ve all performed it when they were young, but I think as an adult you have an entirely different perspective.
And may we all be free from sins as on the day we were born after performing it Inshallah!
