“[All] praise is [due] to Allah , to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and to Him belongs [all] praise in the Hereafter. And He is the Wise, the Acquainted.”
[Al-Quran – Surah Saba: 1]
Shukr at the level of the heart:
I am grateful for being a Muslim, of belonging to a nice family, of all the blessings I do have. But to improve shukr at the level of the heart I need to increase my Iman (faith) and become more faithful and sincere.
Shukr at the level of the tongue:
I like to say “Alhamdulillah”, and “haza min fadli rabbi.” By doing this, I convey my Shukr at the level of the tongue. However, I need to do this more consistently, more regularly, and with more sincerity.
Shukr at the level of the limbs:
I can do this better by implementing the ahkaam of Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) , by bowing and prostrating to Him properly, punctually and sincerely at the time of prayers. Also, by eating healthily, not procrastinating, sleeping early at night and waking up early in the morning, I will be able to utilize my body in the most effective manner. Insha’Allah!
