Subhan Allah-Glory be to Allah

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

the mountains..

the seas..

the birds in the sky..

the plants and flowers..

the insects..

سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

“Whatever is in the heavens and earth exalts Allah , and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.” [Al-Qur’an-Surat Al-Ĥadīd (The Iron):01]

the animals..

the skies..

the sea life..

All of the above and all that is in the heavens and the earth exalt Allah!

Here are some tips to spread the culture of tasbeeh in both your life and those of others:

After salah (prayer), spend a longer time glorifying and praising Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) not only by reciting the glorifications and duas you already know, but also by trying to find out others that you don’t have knowledge of.

If you have a staircase in your house, recite ‘Subhan Allah’ when descending down and ‘Allahu Akbar’ when ascending up.

While completing housework, your hands and feet may be occupied but your tongue is not. Instead of humming your favorite tune, try to glorify and praise Allah (سبحانه و تعالى).

In gatherings, spread your knowledge of the real cure of depression which is tasbeeh (glorification of Allah سبحانه و تعالى) to those who don’t have much knowledge, and ask others about other duas (supplications) that they might know if they have more knowledge than you.

Before drinking, say Bismillah. It doesn’t hurt to remember and glorify Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) with each drop and morsel you drink or eat.

When wearing new clothes, after reciting the specific dua, remember where the cloth has come from and Who ultimately provided you with it.

Before going to bed, remember Who gave you a comfortable bed to sleep in.

When waking up, remember Who has given you another chance to better yourself!
