Thinking Before You Act is the Path to Success

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Uzma Jawed

There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.

[Al-Qur’an:Al-Ahzab (The combined forces):33]

Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) approached every situation with a lot of wisdom and patience. It is a great blessing that we Muslims have been given the example of Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) to follow. But we should, first of all, consider the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) as a great blessing – and then appreciate and value him as such. His simple and straightforward policies, such as those of non-confrontation, are what eventually helped him eventually experience the Conquest of Makkah.

How can we be called the followers of the Prophet  (صلى الله عليه و سلم) , when we are blind to his example?
If we are blind to his example and don’t value and appreciate the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) as we should, then we are truly not worthy of being called his followers.

Analyze yourself in light of this.
If I truly believe  that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم)’s policies were the best policies with conviction, and use his example in my everyday life, then I, too, can achieve small victories. May Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) help me follow the example of Prophet (صلى الله عليه و سلم) in every step of my life. Ameen!
