My Purpose in Life

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Samreen Awan

“[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed – and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving”
[Al-Qur’an – Surat Al-Mulk (The Sovereignty): Verse 02]

My Purpose in Life

1.    To be a successful mother, make sure my kids are healthy, happy and successful

2.   To have a happy marital life

3.   To make a beautiful home

4.    To try to look good (by staying fit and having a good wardrobe)

5.   To have a good and healthy relationship with my family and especially my parents

6.    To aim to be more vigilant in the Worship of Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) and to do charity to be a good Muslim

7.   To plan to live a good retired life in old age

My Revised Purpose of Life – (May Allah(سبحانه و تعالى) give me the ability to keep revisiting this plan and making a firm resolve to implement it to the maximum. Ameen)

1.    Pray and strive to attain Jannah (Paradise) and avoid the Hell fire by permission and mercy of Allah (سبحانه و تعالى)

2.   Fear Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) in each and everything I do…do things for His pleasure and stop to avoid His displeasure

3.    Try to make my children into good Muslims so they can also head to Jannah (Paradise)

4.    Do Ihsan (utmost good) in my relations as wife, daughter, sister and all capacities

5.   Try to save my family from Hell fire

6.   In the daily rigmarole of life, strive hard to accumulate more and more good deeds (the only ‘currency’ of value on the Day of Judgment)

7.    Make an effort to save myself from the punishment of the grave

8.   Spread the word of Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) to the best of my abilities and resources
